Campsites: Stourport & Kidderminster

Stourport-on-Severn grew up in the 1770s where the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal meets the River Severn, and its Georgian canal basins are still busy with narrowboats. The riverside here is lined with caravan parks. Kidderminster, the old carpet town, is the southern terminus of the Severn Valley Railway, and the West Midland Safari Park is on the Bewdley road just outside it.
