Black Country Camping

Campsites: Lichfield, Tamworth & Kingsbury

East of Walsall and Sutton Coldfield the land flattens out into lakes, marinas and canal junctions. Kingsbury Water Park's lakes were made from flooded gravel pits and now have walking and cycling loops, fishing and bird hides. Tamworth has its castle and Drayton Manor, and Lichfield's three-spired cathedral and the National Memorial Arboretum at Alrewas are a short drive north. It's the easiest getaway for anyone on the Walsall and Wednesbury side of the Black Country.
