Black Country Camping

Campsites: Cannock Chase

Cannock Chase is a protected landscape (a National Landscape, formerly an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) of heath and forest a short drive north of Walsall and Wolverhampton. It has waymarked walks, cycling and mountain-bike trails, and herds of wild fallow deer. For Black Country families it is the nearest big stretch of open country, and the campsites around its edges fill up quickly in summer.
